  • 12 oz • spaghetti or linguine
  • 2 tbsp • olive oil
  • 4 cloves • garlic, minced
  • 6 • anchovy fillets, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp • red pepper flakes
  • 1 can • crushed tomatoes (28 oz)
  • 1/2 cup • Kalamata olives, pitted and halved
  • 2 tbsp • capers, drained
  • 1/4 cup • fresh parsley, chopped
  • • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic, anchovy fillets, and red pepper flakes. Cook until the anchovies dissolve and the garlic is fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add the crushed tomatoes, olives, and capers. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
