Ingredients
  • 1 wheel • of Brie cheese
  • 1 sheet • puff pastry (thawed if frozen)
  • 2 tablespoons • honey
  • 1/4 cup • nuts (such as pecans or walnuts)
  • 1/4 cup • fruit preserves (such as fig, apricot, or raspberry)
  • 1 egg, • beaten (for egg wash)
  • • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving
Instructions
  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry into a circle large enough to fully encase the Brie.
  3. 3. Place the Brie in the center of the puff pastry. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with nuts, if using.
  4. 4. If using fruit preserves, spread them on top of the Brie before drizzling with honey.
  5. 5. Fold the puff pastry up and over the Brie, pressing to seal and trim any excess pastry.
  6. 6. Brush the puff pastry with the beaten egg.
  7. 7. Place the wrapped Brie on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. 8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
  9. 9. Let the baked Brie cool for 5-10 minutes before serving with crackers or sliced baguette.
